Instruction No. RD 03-259-98 of the State Technical and Mining Inspectorate validating the Procedure for monitoring the safety of industrial waterworks subject to supervision by the State Technical and Mining Inspectorate.

This Instruction defines the goals, objectives, functions and structure of monitoring the safety of industrial waterworks subject to supervision by the State Technical and Mining Inspectorate, and also establishes the procedure for its implementation during operation thereof. Monitoring the safety of industrial waterworks is a set of constant (continuous) observations of the safety status of waterworks and the nature of their impact on the environment. Monitoring is carried out in order to ensure constant control over the safety status of industrial waterworks and their impact on the environment, to prevent the occurrence of emergency situations and to create conditions for safe operation of industrial waterworks.
