Abstract
The present Federal Law regulates relations originating form activity for the ensuring safety in the process of projecting, construction, putting in operation, running, re-construction, restoration, conservation and liquidation of waterworks, establishes the duties of state bodies, owners of waterworks and running organizations as regards ensuring safety of waterworks. The Federal Law consists of 6 Sections that contain 21 articles. Section 1 (arts. 1-7) lays down general provisions. Section 2 (arts. 8-12) deals with ensuring safety of waterworks. Section 3 (arts. 13 and 14) regards supervision over safety of waterworks. Section 4 (arts. 15-18) regards financing of safety of waterworks. Section 5 (arts. 19 and 20) regards infringement of the legislation on safety of waterworks. Section 6 (art. 21) lays down final provisions.
