Ministerial Decree No. 1076 of 1996 of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources regarding the validation of the Regulation on the modalities of state ecological control by the officials of the Ministry and its territorial (local) branches.

The Minister decrees to validate the Regulation. The state ecological control is carried out for the purpose of conservation and improvement of environment. The document consists of 5 Parts, i.e. Part 1 lays down the general provisions. Part 2 establishes the duties of the state inspectors on environmental protection. Part 3 establishes the rights of the state inspectors on environmental protection. Part 4 establishes the liability of the state inspectors on environmental protection. Part 5 regards the adoption of measures for the removal of the infringement of environmental legislation, legal proceedings against infringers of the law and the official registration.
