Ministerial Decree No. 316 validating the Fisheries Regulation of the Pacific salmon.

The present Regulation determines: a) the modalities and terms of setting and validation of total allowable catch of the Pacific salmon, and also the modalities of amendments thereof; b) the modalities of distribution of total allowable catch of the Pacific salmon in conformity with the types of quotas; c) the modalities of distribution of quotas for coastal fisheries of the Pacific salmon, including internal sea, territorial sea of the Russian Federation, and coastal regional quotas of the coastal RF subjects; d) the modalities of the distribution of quotas for research, fish farming, stock enhancement and acclimatization of the Pacific salmon between the users. The Ministry of Agriculture shall validate annually by 25 March total allowable catch of the Pacific salmon. Quotas for artisanal and sport fishing of the Pacific salmon shall be set by the Federal Fisheries Committee with the consideration of the proposals of the RF subjects.
