Ministerial Decree No.1578 of 1996 regarding amendments to the regulation on licensing of designing and research activity related to the use of land.

The Premier decrees to validate the list of the following amendments. The modalities of licensing of geodetic and cartographic in the process of carrying out land survey and keeping state land cadastre must be coordinated with federal executive body on geodesy and cartography. Licences are issued by federal and regional executive bodies on land resources and land survey. Designing and research activity on the territory of the Russian Federation can be carried out by legal persons irrespectively of the form of property, and by natural persons carrying out entrepreneurial activity without the formation of legal entity on the basis of licence.
