Ministerial Decree No.289 of 1997 regarding validation of the Regulation on definition of territories adjoining radioactively dangerous and nuclear dangerous works and objects and formation and use of centralized fund for financing of arrangements for the social protection of the population living on the aforesaid territories as well as financing of the social infrastructure of the aforesaid territories.

The Government decrees to validate the Regulation. Federal Executive Bodies under which jurisdiction are radioactively dangerous and nuclear dangerous objects and Regional Executive Bodies on which territories are situated specialized enterprises “Radon”, must form centralized fund allocated for financing arrangements for the social protection of the population living on the aforesaid territories. The document consists of IV sections. Sec.I lays down general provisions. Sec.II determines the sources and establishes the modalities of formation of centralized fund for social development. Sec.III determines the main directions and the modalities of utilization of centralised allocations for social development. Sec.IV establishes the modalities of control over the purposeful utilization of centralized fund for social development.
