Official Letter No. 12-02-16 “On the authorized hunting rules, hunting seasons and lists of hunting gear and hunting methods of obtaining wild fauna species.”

This Official Letter states that Ministerial Decree No. 852 regulating hunting seasons, hunting gear and hunting methods establishes that the authorized hunting rules, hunting seasons and lists of hunting gear and hunting methods of obtaining wild fauna species shall be validated by executive authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation by agreement with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Russia and the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia. In connection with the above-mentioned, the hunting rules validated in the subjects (constituent entities) of the Russian Federation in accordance with the Model Rules of Hunting in the Russian Federations are recognized as valid and acting.
