Official Letter No.02-18/20449 of 1996 of State Customs Committee regarding availability of certicates-permits issued by the Ministry of Nuclear Energy and provisional permits issue by Federal Survey on Nuclear and Radioactive Safety for import (export) of nuclear materials and radioactive substances.

Head of Division of organization of customs control of State Customs Committee forwards to all customs offices model certificates-permits for radioactive substance of special type, for the construction of package and transportation of splitting nuclear materials and radioactive goods or substances issued by the Ministry of Nuclear Energy, as well as copies of provisional permits issue by Federal Survey on Nuclear and Radioactive Safety for activity related to processing, handling and utilization of nuclear materials and handling of radioactive substances in the process of export (import) of radioactive products. The declarants must produce the copies of the aforesaid documents when applying to the customs offices with the request of customs clearing control of nuclear materials, radioactive substances and products on their basis due to export or import.
