Abstract
Deputy Chief Sanitary Inspector orders to undertake measures aimed at strengthening state sanitary and epidemiological inspection as regards ensuring radiation protection of the population in the process of consumption of food products derived from wild berries and production control at the enterprises and organizations engaged in procurement, processing and trade of wild berries and production (utilization) of their derivates. Production control, including control over the presence of caesium-137 and strontium-90 in raw materials and ready-to-use products must be envisaged in the process of sanitary and epidemiological evaluation of technical requirements for foodstuffs under elaboration.
