Abstract
The President of the Federal Fisheries Committee orders to validate the List of the types of activity regarding industrial fisheries and fish-farming subject to licensing (attached to the present Order). Industrial fisheries' activity subject to licensing includes marketable catch and harvest of aquatic animals and plants carried out in internal sea, the Azov and the Caspian seas, continental shelf, Exclusive Economic Zone of the Russian Federation, as well as in the open zones of the World Ocean and coastal zones of the foreign states with the use of fishing vessels with the capacity of under 110 kilowatts and over, with the use of stationary and coastal fishing gear and fishing methods, transhipment and landing, all types of service in the open sea to fishing vessels, towage of factory ships by the vessels registered at the fishing sea-ports, fishing research for the purpose of valuation of the stock of fish and elaboration of the recommendations for its rational use. Industrial fish-farming activity subject to licensing includes reproduction of aquatic biodiversity in the natural reservoirs and storage ponds, including their removal for the aforesaid purposes, acclimatisation of aquatic biodiversity in the natural reservoirs and storage ponds, including their catch and transportation for such purposes, cultivation of aquatic biodiversity in the natural reservoirs and storage ponds (sea, lake and pond nurseries).
