Order No. 328 of the Ministry of Natural Resources validating the Methodical Instruction on permissible impacts on water bodies.

This Order sets requirements for: (a) materials used to elaborate the rates of permissible impacts on water bodies; (b) calculation of admissible impacts by type; (c) risk assessment; and (d) sustainable and safe water use. The purpose of admissible impacts on water bodies shall be to set out safe limits of the content of pollutants and other indices of impact on water bodies, taking into account the natural and climatic characteristics of a given waterbody. Rates of admissible impacts shall be elaborated for the following types of impact: (a) discharge of chemicals and suspended substances; (b) discharge of radioactive substances; (c) discharge of microorganisms; (d) effluent waste water discharge; (e) water abstraction; (f) construction of harbour facilities; and (g) exploration and extraction of minerals.
