Order No. 346 of the Ministry of Agriculture validating the Procedure for the destruction of crops (plantings) or seeds of agricultural crops in which the presence of genetically engineered modified organisms.

This Procedure establishes the rules for the destruction of crops (plantings) of agricultural plants or seeds of agricultural plants intended for the production of seeds and reproduction of agricultural plants, in conformity with the conclusion issued by competent laboratory on the presence (absence) of genetically modified organisms in crops (plantings) or seeds of agricultural crops. The owner of crops or seeds in which the presence of GMO is detected, from the date of receipt of the information letter from the competent authority, but no later than 5 working days before the planned date of destruction of crops or seeds, notifies the territorial body of Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) about the proposed date, time and place of their destruction.
