Order No. 438 of the Ministry of Agriculture validating the Regulation on operation of reclamation systems and separately located waterworks.

This Order establishes that operation of reclamation systems and separately located waterworks shall include a set of technical, organizational and economic measures to ensure maintenance in good condition of the reclamation network, structures and equipment, their periodic inspection, carrying out planned preventive repairs, identification and elimination of accidents, water distribution, regulation of water regime of soils, management and control over the preparation by water users of the reclamation network and structures for operation during the growing season. Operation of reclamation systems and separately located waterworks shall be carried out by citizens (natural persons) and legal entities that are their owners, possessors, users, tenants. Proprietors of reclamation systems and separately located waterworks must perform works aimed at increasing the level of operation, reliability, safety and efficiency of reclamation systems and separately located waterworks and reduction of electricity consumption.
