Order No. 454 of 2000 of the Ministry of Natural Resources regarding validation of the Regulation on Department of state ecological expertise attached to the Ministry of Natural Resources.

The Minister orders to validate the Regulation. The Department is a structural division of the Ministry specialized in state ecological expertise. The main tasks of the Department are:1). organization and carrying out state ecological expertise for the purpose of ascertainment of compliance of economic activity with ecological requirements; 2). scientific and methodological support for carrying out state ecological expertise, valuation of the impact of economic and other kinds of activity on environment and ecological substantiation of the programmed economic activity; 3). co-ordination and methodological guidance of the activity of expert divisions of the territorial branches of the Ministry.
