Order No. 491 of the Federal Fisheries Committee setting minimum allocation of quotas for catch (harvest) of aquatic biological resources distributed in accordance with the types of fishing vessels and species of resources.

Acting President of the Federal Fisheries Committee orders to validate minimum allocation of quotas for catch (harvest) of aquatic biological resources for industrial purposes on the continental shelf, EEZ of the Russian Federation (except for the Baltic Sea and the Black Sea), and also in the fishing areas regulated by Joint Russian-Norwegian Fisheries Commission distributed in accordance with the types of fishing vessels and species of resources. Heads of basin institutions for protection, stock enhancement of fish stocks and fisheries regulation must not issue fishing licences (authorization) to the fishing vessels that are not provided with quotas in conformity with minimum validated amount for the yearly period of fisheries.
