Order No. 896 of the Ministry of Agriculture validating Veterinary rules for the implementation of preventive, diagnostic, restrictive and other measures, the establishment and cancellation of quarantine and other restrictions aimed at preventing the spread and liquidation of foci of paratuberculosis.

These Veterinary rules establish mandatory fulfillment of the requirement for the implementation of preventive, diagnostic, restrictive and other measures, establishment and cancellation of quarantine and other restrictions on the national territory aimed at preventing the spread and elimination of foci of paratuberculosis. These rules establish mandatory requirements for the organization and implementation of measures to eliminate paratuberculosis, prevent its occurrence and spread on the national territory, determine the boundaries of the territory to which the regime of restrictive measures and (or) quarantine should apply, including in terms of determining the source of the animal disease, implementation of epizootic zoning, including determination of types of zones in order to differentiate restrictions established by the decision to introduce a regime of restrictive measures and (or) quarantine, restrictions on the production, movement, storage and sale of goods subject to veterinary control (supervision), and requirements for the specifics of the application of such restrictions, including carrying out measures in relation to production facilities located in the quarantine zone.
