Order No.108 of 1999 of the Federal Survey on Nuclear and Radioactive Safety regarding validation and enactment of the Regulation on issuing permits by the Federal Survey on Nuclear and Radioactive Safety for carrying out activity by the personnel of nuclear power stations.

President of the Federal Survey on Nuclear and Radioactive Safety orders to validate and enact from the 1st of January 2001 the Regulation that regards nuclear power station subordinated to the Ministry of Nuclear Energy. This Regulation establishes the modalities of issuing by the Federal Survey on Nuclear and Radioactive Safety permits for carrying out some types of activity by some categories of workers of the nuclear power stations. The permits are issued for the following categories of workers: 1. To the executives for carrying out management of safe operation of nuclear power station; 2. To departmental personnel for nuclear and radioactive safety of the nuclear power station for carrying out inspection of nuclear and radiation safety requirements in the process of running the nuclear power station. 3. To the technical personnel for carrying out technological processes at the nuclear power station. 4. To executives ensuring registration and control of nuclear materials and radioactive substances and ensuring their physical protection for carrying out registration and control of nuclear materials and radioactive substances as well as for ensuring their physical protection. The document consists of VII Sections. Sec.I lays down general provisions. Sec.II establishes the modalities of forwarding permit application, control and examination of the application. Sec.III regards examination of the candidates for permits. Sec.IV regards issuing permits. Sec.V regards terms and conditions of permits. Sec.VI regards survey over the observance of the terms and conditions of permits. Sec.VII regards extension of the terms of permit.
