Order No.179-pr of 2000 of the Federal Geodetic and Cartographic Service regarding validation of the Regulation on territorial inspection of State Geodetic Survey.

Head of the Federal Geodetic and Cartographic Service orders to validate the Regulation on territorial inspection of State Geodetic Survey. The present Regulation determines status, the main tasks and sphere of competence of the territorial inspection of state geodetic survey attached to Federal Geodetic and Cartographic Service. The main tasks of the inspection are: 1. observance by all the parties involved in geodetic and cartographic activity on the delimited territory of the established modalities of carrying out activity and regulations; 2. formation, storage and use of materials and data of state geodetic fund; 3. licensing of geodetic and cartographic activity. The inspection is entitled to carry out the following functions: 1. survey and control over the observance of geodetic and cartographic requirements and regulations; 2. survey over the observance of the established requirements regarding publication of geodetic and cartographic materials; 3 authorization of the access to geodetic and cartographic information; 4. licensing of geodetic and cartographic activity.
