Abstract
In accordance with the resolutions adopted by the 22nd annual session of NEAFC (November, 2003) the Russian quota in the distribution of total allowable catch of Atlantic Scandinavian spring spawning herring for the period of 2004 among NEAFC member states amounts to 13,62% (112365 tons). Head of the Federal Fisheries Committee orders as follows: 1. to validate the distribution of quotas for catch of herring in the Norwegian economic zone to the amount of 32365 among the following applicants: Murmansk Region (Annex 1), Archagel Region (Annex 2), Republic of Karelia (Annex 3), Nenets Autonomous Area (Annex 4), Kaliningrad Region (Annex 5), Leningrad Region (Annex 6) and the city of St.Petersburg (Annex 7).
