Order No.438 of 1997 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food regarding validation of the Model Regulation on territorial department for the protection of hunting resources.

Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food orders to validate the Model Regulation. Territorial Department for the Protection of Hunting Resources (territorial, regional, provincial, autonomous region) is set up by the order of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. The main tasks of the Territorial Department are: 1). Organization and carrying out protection and regulation of the utilization of hunting resources within the jurisdiction of territory, region, province and autonomous region. 2). Carrying out state control over the state, utilization, reproduction of hunting species, ensuring their protection, including hunting inspection and control over the state and quality of the natural habitats of hunting species. 3). Organization and keeping of state registration, state cadastre and state monitoring of hunting species. 4). Carrying out rate setting in the sphere of utilization and protection of hunting species and their natural habitats. 5). Participation in carrying out state ecological expertise as regards protection, stock enhancement and withdrawal of hunting species. 6). Realization of international cooperation in the field of protection and regulation of hunting species, study, generalization and spreading of international experience, ensuring fulfillment of international agreements in the field of protection and regulation of the utilization of wildlife species. 7). Carrying out other types of activity as regards state regulation of the utilization and protection of hunting resources.
