Abstract
President of the Federal Fisheries Committee orders to validate the Provisional Regulation. The present Provisional Regulation regards foreign fishing vessels that pass through the EEZ of the Russian Federation in the Okhotsk Sea by passing through the Sea of Japan and the pacific Ocean. The points of obligatory passage inside the EEZ and the continental shelf of the Russian Federation are fixed with the radius of two sea miles. Federal Fisheries Committee can establish additional passage points forwarding in advance information to natural and legal persons concerned. The aforesaid passage points are compulsory for the passage by all foreign fishing vessels, destined for catch, processing, transhipment and supply of fishing vessels passing through the EEZ of the Russian Federation and leaving it irrespectively of the presence in it of the Russian inspection ship. The passage of foreign fishing vessels through the EEZ of the Russian Federation must proceed with the strict observance of the conditions when the fishing gear available on board must be put out of operation and hooded. The infringers of the Provisional Regulation are liable to prosecution on the basis of the Federal Laws and the Fishing Regulations.
