Abstract
Goals of the regional State Program: creating conditions for the development and improvement of civil society institutions, support for socially oriented non-profit organizations, harmonization of national and international (interethnic) relations and ethnocultural development of small indigenous peoples of the North living in the region.
Objectives of the Regional State Program: (a) providing support for socially oriented non-profit organizations and involving active citizens in the socially significant activities thereof; and (b) creation of favorable conditions for sustainable socio-economic development, preservation of cultural heritage, ethnic languages and spiritual traditions of indigenous peoples of the North living in the Magadan region.
Target indicators of the Regional State Program: (a) number of socially oriented non-profit organizations that received financial support from the regional budget; (b) the number of employees and volunteers of socially oriented non-profit organizations who took part in seminars, internships, conferences, meetings and events in the region and outside the region; (c) the number of socially significant projects implemented by socially oriented non-profit organizations in the region; (d) the number of national public organizations that implemented socially significant projects aimed at strengthening interethnic cooperation in the reporting period; (e) the number of communities and other associations of small indigenous peoples that received support for the development of traditional sectors of the economy; (f) the share of citizens from among small indigenous peoples who are satisfied with the quality of the measures being implemented aimed at supporting the economic and social development of small indigenous peoples, in the total number of respondents belonging to small indigenous peoples; and (g) the number of participants in events aimed at the ethnocultural development of small indigenous peoples.
Expected results of the implementation of the Regional State Program: (a) increase in the number of socially significant projects of socially oriented non-profit organizations implemented by socially oriented non-profit organizations in the region; (b) increasing the number of socially oriented non-profit organizations implementing socially significant projects in the region; (c) increasing the number of citizens and volunteers involved in the implementation of socially significant projects that have received government support; (d) improving the social and living conditions of families of representatives of small indigenous peoples of the North; (e) improving the socio-economic situation of small indigenous peoples of the North, improving their quality of life, strengthening social security; (f) increasing access of small indigenous peoples of the North to educational services; (g) creating conditions for preserving the heritage, development and popularization of languages and culture of small indigenous peoples living in the region; (h) creating conditions for the sustainable functioning of traditional economic sectors, increasing interest in maintaining a traditional way of life and types of traditional economic activities; (i) increasing the role of small indigenous peoples of the North in the economic and social life of the region; and (j) increasing the number of participants in events aimed at the ethnocultural development of small indigenous peoples.
