Regional Law No. 153-OZ amending Regional Law No. 80-OZ “On hunting and conservation of hunting resources”.

This Regional Law adds to the powers of the Regional executive body in the fields of hunting management and conservation of hunting resources also validation of the of the procedure for participation of physical persons in activities to determine the number of hunting resources, to regulate the number the number of hunting resources, to conserve the hunting resources and their habitats, to support and increase the number of hunting resources in the public hunting areas on the regional territory. The distribution of hunting permits for game for which no limits are approved, shall be performed within the limits of the current hunting season and for the current hunting season in the order of receipt of applications for hunting permits within the limits of the rates of permissible hunting per day or per season, as well as the rates of carrying capacity of hunting grounds approved by the authorized body. The distribution of hunting permits for game (except for Siberian roe deer, elk, red deer and brown bear), for which limits are approved according to the relevant procedure, shall be performed within the limits of annual quotas validated by the Regional Governor.
