Regional Law No. 194-OZ “On state support for agricultural development.”

This Regional Law regulates the issues of state support for agricultural development in the regional territory, establishes the main directions and measures of state support thereof. State support for agricultural development shall be intended a set of economic, organizational, legal measures aimed at creating an enabling environment for the development of agriculture. The main directions and measures of state support shall be implemented in accordance with regional state program. The main objectives of state support for agriculture shall be as follows: (a) formation of an efficiently functioning market of agricultural commodities, raw materials and food; (b) ensuring food security and improvement of food supply to the regional population; (c) creating a favorable investment climate in the field of agriculture; (d) increasing competitiveness and ensuring financial stability of producers of agricultural commodities, raw materials and foodstuffs; (e) increase of production potential agricultural commodity producers and other subjects of state support for agriculture; and (f) ensuring sustainable development of rural areas.
