Regional Law No. 45-RZ “On the powers of regional state authorities in the field of biological safety.”

This Regional Law determines the powers of the regional state bodies in the field of ensuring biological safety. The powers of the Regional Government in the field of ensuring biological safety include: (a) coordination of the activities of the regional executive bodies in the field of biological safety; (b) participation in the planning and implementation of anti-epidemic, antiepizootic, antiepiphytotic measures; (c) participation in monitoring of biological risks and in assessing the effectiveness of the implementation of measures aimed to ensure biological safety, on the regional territory; and (d) informing local authorities in the Republic of Altai and the population about the performance of measures aimed at ensuring biological safety on the regional territory.
