The State Program for the Development of Agriculture and Regulation of Agricultural Products, Raw Materials and Foodstuffs for 2013-2020 (as amended on September 6, 2018).

This State Program is sectoral program applicable to the spheres of plant production and animal breeding. The scope of the State Program shall be to increase the volumes of crop production in 2020 by 14.3 percent to the level of 2015, and livestock production - by 10.2 percent. The objective is to develop branches of agro-industrial complex ensuring accelerated import substitution of the main agricultural commodities, raw materials and foodstuffs. Separate measures shall be applied for the improvement of state information resources in the sphere of ensuring food security and management of agro-industrial complex.
Support for the implementation of measures for the integrated development of settlements situated in rural areas, social, engineering infrastructure and roads, carried out within the framework of state programs (subprograms of state programs) of subjects of the Russian Federation aimed at the sustainable development of rural territories.
Special arrangements are envisaged for compensation of losses to the producers of agricultural commodities as a result of natural disasters.
