Abstract
The document outlines the procedure for conducting environmental audits, including a list of works, activities, and projects that require such audits. It describes the process from the application for authorization through the establishment of the terms of reference and the selection of experts. The process also includes the preparation and submission of the environmental audit report, followed by its review and decision-making, with the possibility of a public hearing. The text provides that an environmental audit is carried out on existing projects or facilities, using information from the project's design and baseline data from the environmental impact assessment (EIA) process. For projects without a prior EIA, the audit relies on scoping process data, and the Authority may also request audits for projects not listed, based on routine inspection recommendations. Annex of the text provides the list of works, activities and projects that must undergo environmental audit. The text consists of 13 Articles and one Annex.
