Abstract
The purpose of these Regulations is to establish tariffs or fees and fines for regulatory services rendered by Rwanda Food and Drugs Authority (Chapter 1). The text establishes that the Authority reserves the power to determine the types of services offered to the public, non-governmental Organizations (NGOs), research institutions, individuals and private institutions. The Regulations include an Annex I listing the services and their corresponding fees. It provide fees for the registration of regulated products, for the renewal and variation of registered products, for inspections, for the operational licence, permit or certificate.
Chapter 2 sets up final provisions including the duration for payment of service, the exemption of regulatory service fees, the forced payment of fines and other, miscellaneous, provisions.
