Abstract
This Royal Decree approves the rules of maritime delimitation of maritime zones of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. They define the internal waters, territorial sea, contiguous zone, exclusive economic zone, and continental shelf of the Kingdom and defines sovereign rights of the Kingdom over these maritime areas. Fishing in the EEZ is restricted to nationals of the Kingdom. Concerned authorities in the Kingdom may, in accordance with conditions and restrictions, license non-nationals to fish in accordance with the laws and regulations imposed by the Kingdom to preserve living resources. The EEZ shall "extend to the maritime borders with the neighbouring states or opposite it".
