Abstract
This Act makes amendments in the principal Act by inserting the definition of Electoral Commission in Section 2; inserting Section 9A regarding the date of ordinary election of members of each Provincial Assembly after the commencement of the Provincial Government (Amendment) Act 2023; inserting Section 11A regarding the fuctions of the Electoral Commission; and amending Section 15 regarding the disqualification from the membership of a Provincial Assembly.
