Abstract
This Act regulates various matters relative to supply of water to the public and related matters.
The Act consists of 21 sections divided into 2 Parts: Supply of water to Honaria (I); Supply of water to other parts of Solomon Islands (II).
Matters regulated are application for supply, connection, measurement of water supplied, payment of water charges, disconnection, maintenance of equipment, works to be carried out by the Chief Executive Engineer. Penalties are prescribed for the soiling of public water supply. Regulation making powers of the Minister responsible for the administration of this Act are set out in section 19.
