Animal and Plant Biosecurity (Animal) Declaration of Notifiable Diseases Regulations, 2014 (S.I.No. 79 of 2014).

These Regulations, made by the Minister of Natural Resources under section 137 of the Animal and Plant Biosecurity Act, 2014, specify in the Schedules animal and fish diseases that are notifiable diseases under the Act. A person who knows of or suspects the occurrence of a notifiable pest or disease in Seychelles shall notify the Director of Biosecurity. A notifiable disease shall be a regulated disease for the purposes of section 20(1) of the Act and importations of such disease shall be prohibited.
