Abstract
These Regulations prohibit the manufacturing of and place restrictions on the marketing and use of controlled products, i.e. products containing substances listed in the Schedule to these Regulations. The purpose is to restrict use of products that may deplete the ozone layer. Sale and use of controlled products requires a permit from the Administrator of the Authority appointed under the Environment Protection Act and decommissioning of a controlled product requires a licence to be issued by the Seychelles Licensing Authority. A person to whom these Regulations apply shall be required to make arrangements for the recovery of specified controlled products.
