Abstract
These Regulations prohibit the sale of dietary food that does not comply with these Regulations and lay down standards ingredients for such food. They also prescribe rules relating the labelling of such food and specific statements or claims made on the label. “Special dietary food” includes food serving as supplement of an ordinary diet or for any particular dietary need and artificial sweeteners intended for use by diabetics.
