National Disaster Relief Fund Notice, 2013 (S.I. No. 7 of 2013).

This Notice of the President, acting as the Minister responsible for Finance, Trade and Investment under the Public Finances Management Act, establishes the National Disaster Relief Fund, defines its objectives and provides with respect to the administration of the Fund. The objects of the Fund are to: (a) to raise funds from public institutions or private bodies in Seychelles and elsewhere; (b) to use the funds to assist persons in cases of emergencies resulting from natural causes; (c) to provide temporary relief to small businesses extending short term loans for purchase of equipment, raw materials or related products; (d) to assist other charitable organisations in achieving the above objectives.
