Nature Reserves and Conservancy (Further Criteria for Classification of Protected Areas) Regulations, 2023 (S.I. 49 of 2023).

These Regulations are made in the exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 (2) of the Nature Reserves and Conservancy Act, 2022 (Act). They provide further criteria for classification of protected areas which are set out in the Schedule appended to the Regulations. These further criteria are laid down for Strict Nature Reserve, Ecological Reserve, National Parks, Protected Landscape or Protected Seascape, Sustainable Use Area and Transboundary Protected Area.
