Seychelles Maritime Safety Authority (Fees) Regulations, 2023 (S.I. 3 of 2023).

These Regulations are made in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 25(2)(m) and read with Section 4(2) (gg) of the Seychelles Maritime Safety Authority Act, 2019. Section 3 lists the various services for which fees are payable by a person availing such services. These include the registration of local and international vessels, licences issued to vessels, examinations, surveys, medical examiner subscriptions, auditing fees, endorsement of certificates and other services mentioned therein. The Schedule to these Regulations lists the amount of fee payable by a person in exchange for services rendered by the Authority. Section 4 allows imposition of surcharge for renewals not made in the specified time. Fees made under these regulations shall be revised periodically to align with the economic climate.
