Seychelles Ports Authority (Amendment) Act, 2024 (Act 4 of 2024).

This Act amends the Seychelles Ports Authority Act (principal Act). Section 2 of the principal Act is amended to insert definitions for harbour, pilot, port facility, quay, vessel and others. In section 4 of the principal Act, sub-sections (2) and (7) are substituted and new sub-sections (8), (9) and (10) are inserted. New section 6A containing powers of the Authority is added after section 6. Section 7 is substituted and a new sub-section 7A is added thereafter. Section 8 is substituted and new sections 8A, 8B, 8C and 8D are added thereafter. New section 10A is inserted after section 10. Sections 16 and 17 are amended. New sections 19A and 19B are inserted after section 19. Section 20 is amended and new schedule is inserted after section 21.
