Act (2014: 1005) on timber measurement.

This Law applies to timber measurement, which shall form the basis for determining the compensation for the timber in the event of a transfer. It aims to give sellers and buyers of timber equal opportunities to assess whether the compensation for the timber subject to transfer is reasonable. The government or the authority designated by the government may issue Regulations concerning methods of and information on timber measurement. The Law also provides for self-control and supervision by the designated authority of timber measurements. The supervisory authority may notify injunctions and prohibitions necessary for compliance with this Law or the Regulations issued in connection with the Law.
