Act relative to the Council Regulation (EEC) No. 2092/91 on organic production of agricultural products and indications referring thereto on agricultural products and foodstuffs (1995:551).

This Act provides for additional rules for the introduction of the Council Regulation on agricultural production and products. The Government may issue Regulations relative to organic products in accordance with section 2 and powers of control and supervision of the implementation and enforcement of the Council Regulation shall be assigned to a State agency to be appointed by the Government. Powers of the control body are outlined in section 4. Section 7 prescribes offences, whereas section 9 provides for appeal against decisions taken pursuant to the present Act.
