Decree relative to testing and sampling of animals and related matters.

This Decree completes provisions of the Act relative to testing and sampling of animals and related matters. It requires the Government to notify the provisions of basic EC legislation that shall complete provisions of the Act and grants regulation-making powers to the State Agricultural Agency and the National Food Authority to complete provisions of EC legislation Sweden. The Decree defines matters that shall be regulated and fall within the competence of either the State Agricultural Agency or the National Food Authority. These matters concern control of infectious diseases affecting animals, control of residues in animals or animal products, animal hygiene, quarantine and slaughter, etc.
