Abstract
This Decree partly amends Decree 1716 with regard to In particular Chapter 2a, articles 5, 9, and Appendix 3.
Fishing with nets of a max. thickness 0.20 millimeters (monofilement) may be used for species other than salmon and trout. Marine fishing activities may take place with heavier wired nets with a mesh size up to 40 mm. Floating nets may be up to 200 meters long. Anchored nets may be distanced by max. 60 mt.These provisions do not apply to marine fishing between 1 August 1 and 30 April, as well as to marine fishing with nets with a mesh size larger than 40 mm. Access openings of fish traps for lamprey must not exceed 16 cm. in any direction. It is forbidden to catch salmon or trout measuring less than 50 cm. and grayling measuring less than 35 cm. Fish not meeting such measurements must be immediately released back into the water, dead or alive. Appendix 3 in this document is updated according to the amendments given.
