Law (2016: 96) on pleasure boats and water scooters.

This Law concerns the design and use of boats and jet scooters used for recreational purposes. The Law aims to protect people's health and safety and promote environmental and consumer protection through provisions on design and manufacturing requirements for such watercrafts and parts of such watercrafts sold separately. Products covered by this Law may only be supplied to the market or put into service if, properly maintained and used for their intended purpose, they do not compromise the health and safety of persons, property or the environment and only on condition that they comply basic safety and environmental requirements. The government or the authority designated by the government may issue Regulations concerning the basic safety and environmental requirements that must be met.
