Abstract
This Regulation of the Environment Protection and Energy Department, made under provisions of Chapter 14 the Environmental Code, provides rules for the use of nematodes, insects and arachnids as biological agents (pesticides). Such biological agent must be approved if it is imported from outside the EU, the European Economic Area or Turkey and placed on the market in Sweden. this rule does not apply to nematodes, insects and arachnids as biological agents tested under specified EU legislation. the Regulation sets out the criteria and procedures of approval by the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency.
