Animals and Birds (Piranha) Rules 2019.

These Rules, consisting of 5 sections, establish that a person is prohibited from keeping, breeding, selling, purchasing, importing, or exporting any piranha, as well as releasing piranhas into any stream, river, canal, channel, watercourse, reservoir, lake, or other body of water. Anyone who violates these prohibitions commits an offence and can be punished with a fine, imprisonment, or both.
