Abstract
These Regulations provide for the control and management of the port and for the maintenance of good order therein.
In particular they provide for: information to be supplied by the masters, owners, agents and other persons in respect of vessels arriving and departing; distress, emergency and safety measures; for the use of signals and lights to be used in ports, and for radio communication requirements; regulating, directing and controlling the use of vessels for all activities carried on in the waters of the port in respect of vessels; special anchorages; specified places for loading and unloading cargo and public landing places; prohibitions and restrictions within port waters; port security; etc.
