Abstract
These Regulations regulate the discharge of trade effluent into sewers.
An application for approval to discharge trade effluent into a public sewer shall be made to the Board as provided for in the text.
The Regulations stipulate that any person who discharges effluent waste into public sewerage systems shall be required to: install pre-treatment plants, and monitoring and control devices; install grease traps; provide particulars of the nature and type of the trade effluent discharged; make sure trade effluent is free of certain substances and not contain concentrations of certain substances greater than those specified in the Schedule; etc.
