Abstract
The Act consists of 9 Parts: Preliminary (I); Administration (II); Sewerage (III); Drainage (IV); Protection of Water Resources (V); Registration, Codes of Practice and Certificates or Approval for Works (VI); Enforcement (VII); Compensation, Damages, Fees, Costs and Expenses (VIII); Miscellaneous Provisions (IX).
Provisions are made on the construction, maintenance and improvement of sewerage and land drainage systems, on restrictions in using the public sewerage and drainage systems, on avoidance of introducing domestic and non domestic waste in the systems if not authorized.
