Abstract
This Decision determines that the Institute for Health Care Maribor is authorized to carry out tasks related to the implementation of some specific needs that are regulated by the national Law on chemicals. The Institute for Health Care Maribor shall be authorized to perform the following tasks: assessment of substances and preparations or products as defined by law, based on these substances, which means hazard assessment or individual effects within the hazard assessment and risk assessment, and for biocidal preparations also effectiveness assessment, for which the Office of the Republic of Slovenia for Chemicals is responsible, including substances contained in cosmetic products and detergents; participation in individual issues in the process of issuing consent for plant protection products according to article 49a of the Law on chemicals. The costs of individual orders based on special contracts for the implementation of individual works in the field of law for the needs of state bodies will be paid from the state budget. The costs for the implementation of the tasks related to biocidal preparations from this authorization are covered by the proponents, based on the invoice issued by Institute for Health Care Maribor, in accordance with the regulation on the costs of procedures for placing biocidal preparations on the market.
