Abstract
This Decision establishes the Interdepartmental Commission for Chemical Safety of the Republic of Slovenia. The Commission promotes the coordinated operation of departments in the areas of handling chemicals and chemical safety, whereby in particular: enables the exchange of information on the development and implementation of policies in the field of chemical safety; promotes the coordinated planning and implementation of policies and the operation of departments in the field of chemical safety; monitors the state of chemical safety, identifies challenges and prepares recommendations for managing them. All possible Commission representatives are listed in article 3. For the coordinated implementation of special interdepartmental measures to manage risks to human health and the environment, the commission can establish permanent or temporary working groups of representatives of relevant or interested ministries, social organizations and interest groups, as well as, if necessary, external experts.
